Who are we

Jostedal Sauna was started Summer 2025 by three local siblings Hylkje, Gunnar and Rein. They grew up on the farm that the sauna is located at, and these days they work in Jostedal as nature guides. When you work as a nature guide, you are exposed to all the weather conditions that Jostedal can provide you through the summer, and some of that (luckily) is rain. Coming home from adventures sometimes cold, they wanted a place to relax and recharge and reheat for the next day of adventures. We realized that many other adventurers must be in the same boat as us, and wish to share this with both locals and visitors of Jostedal. Welcome!
